The observation terrace "The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama" will be open for the green season from July 18th (Sat) to November 8th (Sun).
Amidst the stunning scenery of Ishiuchi Maruyama, we await your visit with a variety of green season experiences, including barbecues, buggy cruises, and a night terrace overlooking the city lights.

If you come by car
From Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, take National Route 17 towards Echigo-Yuzawa for about 5 minutes. From Yuzawa IC, take National Route 17 towards Nagaoka City for about 12 minutes.
Admission is free on weekdays during the winter season (charges apply on certain holidays; accommodation fees are separate).
Parking lot opening status
Please Note
- In winter, Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort has four entrances: two "Central Entrances," a "North Entrance," and a "Hatsuka Ishiguchi" entrance. Please check the opening hours of each entrance before visiting.
- If you are using The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama or the Resort Center, please enter through the Central Gate.
- If you are entering the central entrance, please enter through P2 if P1 is crowded. You can also access the entrances from the north entrance (P5) and the Hatsukaishi entrance (P4) by using the resort shuttle bus or from within the slopes.
- Each parking lot will open at 6:30 a.m. Please note that parking will not be possible until then as snow removal and other work will be carried out.
If you are coming by Shinkansen or train
It takes just 80 minutes to get from JR Tokyo Station to JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen, and just 10 minutes by free shuttle bus or taxi from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station, making it an ideal day trip destination from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Free shuttle
A free shuttle bus will operate from the JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station East Exit bus rotary during the winter season.
The "Echigo-Yuzawa Station ⇔ Ski Resort Direct Service" and the "Ski Resort Shuttle Service" operated by the ski resort are scheduled to operate until the end of normal business hours.
The "Blue Line Course" and "Orange Line Course," which operate at the four ski resorts NASPA, Yuzawa Kogen, GALA Yuzawa, and Ishiuchi Maruyama, will only be in operation during the Three Mountains Connecting Project period.
