Ishiuchi Maruyama has three entrances: the Central Entrance, Hatsukaishi Entrance, and North Entrance, each with its own parking lot.

Parking is free on weekdays, and 1,000 yen per standard car on weekends, holidays, and during the New Year holidays.

Normal tires are very dangerous in winter. Even when there is no snow on the roads, there is a possibility of ice or sudden weather changes. Please be sure to bring studless tires or tire chains.

A shuttle bus runs daily from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station during the winter operating period.

We do not take reservations. If there are passengers who cannot fit on the bus during peak hours, we will arrange for an extra bus, but we cannot guarantee the departure and arrival times of the extra bus. Thank you for your understanding.

Please use a taxi or local bus. The taxi fare from Echigo-Yuzawa Station is around 2,500 yen.

There are no childcare facilities available within the ski resort.

There is a multi-purpose toilet at the Central Gate Resort Center, and a diaper changing station is available in the toilet at the Observation Terrace Cafe midway up the mountain.

There are no ATMs within the ski resort. The nearest ATMs are at Seven-Eleven Nakaetsu Shiozawa Minami Branch and Yukiguni Shinkin Bank Ishiuchi Branch.

At the ski resort directly managed facilities listed below, you can use various credit cards, electronic money, and code payments.

At ski resort facilities, you can use the service at the resort center. On-site reservations must be made by cash on delivery.

There are many hot springs around Ishiuchi Maruyama, and you can enjoy natural hot spring facilities and bathing facilities on a day trip.

We do not have an area where customers can tune up or wax their own cars.

An adjustment stand with a driver is available at the lift boarding area.

One child under 3 years old is free per paying adult. All other guests require a lift ticket.

There is no charge during events or campaigns where the lift is free, but a lift ticket is required.

This lift ticket is for preschool children aged 4 and over.

The kids' ticket includes use of all gondolas and lifts, admission to the snow play area, and admission to the dome tent during opening hours, including night skiing on the day of use.

Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort has introduced IC card type tickets and auto gates (automatic ticket gates).

IC tickets are contactless and can be read, allowing you to easily pass through gates simply by having them in your pocket.We also offer convenient ticket types such as "time tickets" that allow you to freely choose the validity period to suit your schedule.

This ticket can be used within the validity period from the first time you pass through the gate.

There are "4-hour tickets" and "1-day tickets (8.5-hour tickets)" that allow you to use the designated time continuously, and "10-hour tickets" that allow you to use the designated time in one-hour increments.

This is a ticketing system that allows you to receive your ticket simply by holding up a pre-issued QR code.

This offer is only available for advance online purchases made through the official website or through a sales agent linked to the system.

Some ticket types that require identity verification are not eligible.

This is an annual pass that allows you to enjoy Ishiuchi Maruyama to your heart's content anytime during the operating season.

This is an area-specific ticket that is only valid for lifts in the Hatsuka Ishiguchi area.

Please note that this service is not available in the central exit area or north exit area.

This is a common ticket that allows you to travel between three ski resorts: Ishiuchi Maruyama, GALA Yuzawa, and Yuzawa Kogen, all with one ticket.

During the connection period, the slopes are connected by connecting lifts and ropeways, allowing you to enjoy the largest scale of skiing in the Yuzawa area. Outside of the connection period, please enjoy traveling by mountain shuttle bus.

We do not rent goggles, hats, gloves, socks, or other accessories that are worn directly on the skin. Please purchase these items at the shop.

We provide all the necessary skiing equipment, including helmets and boots.

Skis are available from foot size 15.5cm and board size 70cm, and snowboards are available from foot size 15cm, board size 80cm and clothing size 80cm.

Special models such as carving models and powder models are available for "performance rental" at the resort center.

Rentals run directly by the ski resort can be used for multiple days, but overnight storage is required at your accommodation.

Only equipment designated by the ski resort is permitted on the slopes. For details, please see "Applicable Equipment."

There are seven ungroomed areas and tree run areas within the site. Please check the course conditions carefully and follow the guide signs before using these areas.

During lift operating hours, you can travel between entrances by changing lifts and trails. During night skiing hours, the connecting trails are closed, so you cannot travel between the Central Entrance and Hatsukaishi Entrance. Similarly, during night skiing hours, you cannot travel from the North Entrance to the Central Entrance, but you can descend from the Central Entrance to the North Entrance during operating hours.

In addition, you can take the on-site shuttle bus from the base of the mountain to each entrance.

During the connection period to Yuzawa Snow Link, a connecting lift will be operating from the summit of Ishiuchi Maruyama to GALA Yuzawa.

Additionally, if you take the lift, you can take a ropeway from the southern area of ​​GALA Yuzawa to Yuzawa Kogen.

Outside of the connection period, you can travel to each ski resort by shuttle bus from the base of the mountain.

Located along the No. 2 Tourist Express, it will have a main park for intermediate and advanced skiers and a beginner park for beginners.

There is also a Minamiuonuma city-run half pipe located along the Tyrol Triple Lift.

To use the half-pipe, you will need to fill out an application form and pay a usage fee in addition to your lift ticket.

Ishiuchi Maruyama is characterized by the many relatively gentle slopes in the middle of the ski resort.

From the central entrance, you can access the middle of the mountain by gondola, and if you are worried about returning, you can also take the gondola back down the mountain.

We determine the optimal timing for maintenance between the end of business hours and the opening of business the next day, taking into account the weather and snow conditions of the day.

Please do not enter courses that have closed due to the risk of snow groomers working on them until the course reopens the next day, as this can be extremely dangerous.

Hiking up the course is prohibited. Removing your skis on the course is extremely dangerous as it may cause your skis to slip away or cause collisions.

The following gondolas and lifts are open for tourists, so you can go up and down without wearing skis.

Other lifts cannot be used by anyone without skis or snowboards.

There is a ski and snowboard practice area within the snow play area.

The nearest entrance is the Central Gate, which can be reached by taking the Sunrise Express gondola and getting off at the summit station, in the mid-slope area.

The gondola station is approximately 150m from the Resort Center, where the ticket office is located.

The temperature in the surrounding area drops to around -5℃ to 10℃ during the winter. If you plan to enjoy the outdoor areas, you will need to bring warm clothing.

During the winter season, pets are not permitted inside the ski resort or in facilities operated directly by the ski resort.

In winter, wheelchairs and strollers cannot be entered as the route is taken over snow.

In principle, bringing in food and drinks is prohibited. If you have an unavoidable reason, please consult with staff.

Seats at the observation terrace and cafe are not available for reservation. Please note that seats may not be available depending on the level of attendance.

Dome tents are available for reservation in 60-minute increments. If there are spaces available, we will accept reservations on the day, but we recommend that you apply in advance.

You will be asked to leave the room once the reserved time (60 minutes) has elapsed. However, if there are no further reservations, you may extend your stay in 60-minute increments (fees apply).

The dome tent is equipped with heating and air conditioning for your comfort. In addition, paper napkins, wet tissues, disinfectant alcohol spray, blankets, and other items are available for your use.

During the winter season, pets are not permitted inside the ski resort or in facilities operated directly by the ski resort.

However, you may bring your pet on board as long as it is placed in a container with a lid that can fit the entire body, such as a cage, and does not pose a risk of harming or bothering other customers.
