Tree Run

Tree Run Course

Overview

Experience natural snow in a tree run and ungroomed snow area

Ishiuchi Maruyama has two tree run areas and five ungroomed areas, so when it snows you can enjoy plenty of natural snow.

Note

Please confirm the following points when using the tree run area. If you do not agree to the points, you will be denied access to the tree run area.

[How to use]

  • The area is open from opening until 15:00 PM, but if patrols determine it is dangerous, the hours may be shortened or skiing may be prohibited.
  • Please be sure to wear a helmet while using the area.
  • If patrols determine that an area is dangerous due to weather conditions, changes in conditions, or obstacles, the area will be closed and a sign will be posted at the entrance to the area.

[Precautions when skating]

  • Be careful of bumps and other obstacles near the exit of the area where the packed snow course joins. Also, check your surroundings and take steps to avoid danger, such as stopping if necessary.
  • When entering the area, please enter through the designated entrance, pay close attention to the movements of other skiers, and ensure safety before entering.
  • Fluorescent tape has been installed at the boundary between the tree run area and the no-skiing area. Please also follow other guide signs and do not go beyond the boundary line when skiing.
  • If we find you have entered a "no skiing area," your lift ticket will be confiscated.

[Regarding accidents]

  • No course maintenance will be performed within this area. Please be fully aware that there are more avalanche risks, risks from obstacles including standing trees, risks from uneven terrain, risks from snow conditions, and risks from obstacles hidden in the snow than on regular slopes, and ski at your own risk.
  • The ski resort will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur within the area.
